A Designer's Wardrobe Gallery

--- The Design & Sew Pattern Collection Spring Wardrobe Plan ---

This basic wardrobe is created from the Design & Sew pattern collection on this web site. As you look at the patterns, notice how well they mix 'n match. In some cases I have been surprised by unexpected combinations that work well together. Once the "neutrals plus" wardrobe is in your closet you will be amazed how convenient it is, and you will never have to say, "I don't have anything to wear!"

I'm very much drawn to the neutral colors, leaving the colorful items in my wardrobe for the blouses and accessories, especially scarves. It is so much easier to coordinate everything, since all the pieces go together.

This is my spring outline, maybe you'll get some idea for your plan. My basic colors are black, camel, charcoat grey, taupe, cream. I know that sounds pretty boring -- but by the time I add small amounts of red, teal, olive green, peach or periwinkle -- it's looking quite wonderful!

Variations on In the Studio - twelve:

It's the simplicity of line that first attracts the attention to the bolero. This style of jacket creates a fresh new look, one that is distinctive and classy. The three scarves are inventive and easy to make.
